Meet the Staff

Patsy Lawry

Patsy Lawry  has been teaching early childhood music and movement programs since 1997.  In addition to teaching Music Together, she has had extensive experience in providing children’s music programs for daycares, pre-schools, and libraries.  She founded Music Together of New Haven County in Connecticut in 1998 and was the director for eight years.  In 2006 she moved to San Antonio where she taught for Fiesta Music Together  before becoming  the director in 2008. She has been teaching Music Together for Children’s Chorus of San Antonio since 2010.  Lawry holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Paier College of Art in Hamden, Connecticut.  She is a certified Orff  teacher, a certified Music Together teacher, and a certified Music for People facilitator.

Rebecca Morgan

Rebecca Morgan, director of the junior choruses, holds the distinction of being the first CCSA alumna to join the staff, having sung with the organization from 1987-1991. She earned her bachelor’s degree in music education from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New jersey, and her master’s degree in music education from Texas State University with a Kodály concentration. Morgan has taught elementary music for the North East Independent School District in San Antonio, and currently teaches music for primary and middle school at the Montessori School of San Antonio. Morgan has shared her passion for music with those who need it most, having piloted Music Together at Haven for Hope and the Neighborhood Choir community outreach program.
